Long Tom Watershed Council

Bioregional Context
The Long Tom Watershed lies in the upper Willamette Valley of western Oregon, draining into the Willamette River and ultimately the Columbia River system. The watershed spans a diverse mosaic of ecosystems—from upland forests and oak savannas to agricultural lowlands and urbanizing areas near Eugene. Historically stewarded by the Kalapuya people, the region is now shaped by a mix of land uses, including farming, forestry, and suburban development.
